Responsibilities
The Client Experience Marketing Manager is responsible for communicating NBCUniversal's Advertising & Partnerships positioning and initiatives to the advertising ecosystem. The Marketing Manager will manage day-to-day coordination of native, curated, thought-leadership experiences, both for internal and market-facing audiences, as well as conferences and industry events (CES, Cannes, Advertising Week, World Economic Forum, etc.). This individual will also play a key role in managing our division's e-mail communications process, and social media marketing efforts. Further, they will facilitate communications across various teams including trade marketing, creative partnerships, corporate events, corporate communications, finance, and legal to keep all groups aligned and on track to meet our strategic goals.
Reporting to the Director of Client Experience, this position will support the NBCUniversal Ad Sales Leadership Team and the Office of the Chairman supporting the annual strategy to deliver NBCUniversal Ad Sales' message priorities to two key audiences:
• The internal Ad Sales team (through Leadership offsites, email communications, etc.)
• The advertising marketplace (clients, agencies, and partners)
Responsibilities:
• Ideate compelling client engagement ideas (both physical & virtual) to demonstrate and deliver on NBCUniversal strategic priorities and brand propositions in an endemic manner for inviting and engaging executional ideas at both industry conferences and NBCUniversal curated events.
• Work with senior team members to support relationships with industry trade partners, as well as conference & event stakeholders.
• Communicate objectives, strategy, and executional details to Ad Sales Leadership attendees for industry/conference/tentpole experiences, as well as communicating plans/recaps to overall Ad Sales organization.
• Own the marketing communications process and calendar, as well as all communications sent to our larger marketing database (gather materials, create assets, coordinate amongst teams.)
• Monitor email analytics to generate trends and insights and develop best practices.
• Manage and collaborate with our internal Comms team on our social media marketing efforts for the Advertising and Partnerships handles, as well as certain Advertising and Partnerships Executives.
• Manage data systems, including Excel worksheets, Pardot email system, Salesforce Trade Contact Lists, Splash Events Tool, and own other data-related projects as part of our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations, Business Automation and CRM teams on various CRM and performance marketing projects such as the development/optimization of processes, onboarding of innovative marketing tools and internal training.
• Oversee the RSVP process inclusive of list gathering, analysis, and attendance reporting for current events.
• Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Process, code and submit invoices.
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Corporate Events in event activation.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and Client Experience Team Leadership to coordinate special projects and requests.
• Create communication plans and timelines for external & internal events.
• Project manage pieces of larger events and projects.
• Create event-related collateral as needed including look books, timelines, grids, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience with an agency, client, media company, or sales organization background.
• Superior Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong Knowledge of PowerPoint
• 1-2 years working with email marketing tools and/or Salesforce
• 1-2 years Project Management experience
• Social media marketing experience is a plus.
• Must be agile and confident executing leadership's direction in a fast-paced workflow.
• Strong organization and project management skills with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exhibit core behaviors: clear and concise communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, detail oriented.
• Should be a “Jack-of-all-trades†with a no task is too big or too small attitude.
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and travel as needed to support event efforts. Most events will be NY (NEW YORK) based and during the week, however, flexibility is needed.
