This is a Full Time Job
''Meet the Press with Kristen Welker” is looking for an Associate Producer with exceptional editorial skills, strong news judgment, a demonstrated expertise in covering politics and policy, as well as strong tape, digital and social skills.
Job Duties:
• Work with editors and graphic artists to produce packages, including the broadcast Open, edit tape elements and develop graphics
• Generate and pitch show ideas, program guests and franchise segments
• Produce political panel
• Gather sound and assist with ''Meet the Press'' interview elements and spots
• Produce guest research and write questions for ''Meet the Press'' moderator
• Shoot and edit stories for digital and social platforms, and elements for broadcast
• Edit show promos, early release clips and other show franchises
• Identify top news-making moments for NBC News affiliates
• Track competition
• Assist with show archiving
• Edit and socialize breakout clips for social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and meetthepress.com
• Assist with podcast production for audio projects
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in news production
• At least 3 years of tape, field and editing experience
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
• Must be willing to work in Washington, DC
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be available to work Saturdays & Sundays as part of the regular weekly schedule and evenings and holidays as required

Additional Requirements:
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
