Position Summary:
NBCUniversal is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Coordinator to support the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing and assist with the overall social media strategy for Universal Pictures All-Access. The role involves engaging with the online community, producing and editing short-form videos, and creating innovative content across various platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Threads, and Twitter/X.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitor social media platforms and engage with the Universal All-Access community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions
• Ideate and execute organic TikTok videos, including in-office shoots
• Edit and repurpose film clips into engaging short-form content for social platforms
• Collaborate with the social media team to develop creative content ideas and stay on top of current trends
• Assist with influencer searches and manage influencer marketing collaborations
• Oversee organic social media strategies and posting for Partner films in the Home Entertainment Window
• Provide support to the Organic Digital Marketing Team to ensure smooth execution of campaigns
• Manage general billing and purchase order (PO) maintenance
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• 1+ year of experience in social media, digital marketing, or video production
• 1+ year of experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
• 1+ year of experience with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, X)
• Experience with social media analytics tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or platform insights)
• Creative and proactive thinker with a knack for developing innovative ideas
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with pop culture and the ability to quickly spot trends
• Basic knowledge of influencer marketing and community management is a plus
• Understanding of billing processes and PO management is a plus
Salary Range:
• $55,000 - $62,000 annually
Work Environment:
• Hybrid: Minimum three days in the office per week
