Responsibilities
We are actively seeking an energetic, creative, thoughtful, detail-oriented, social-media-savvy Coordinator to come join our Internal Communications team at Universal Studios Hollywood. The team's core responsibility is to deliver informative, engaging, and inspiring content to our Team Members, providing them with the information that impacts their day-to-day as well as motivate and support their success and growth during their time with us.
You will play a pivotal role on the team by assisting in the planning, execution and tracking of all Internal Comms initiatives. This includes partnering with members across the organization to assist in development and asset creation supporting different initiatives across the Park. You will work closely with the Specialist and Sr. Manager to help drive impactful, consistent communications through newsletters, digital boards, social and our internal website. This role requires a passion for connecting with and communicating to our Team Members.
Responsibilities include:
• Support the Specialist and Sr. Manager on implementation and execution of our internal communications strategy
• Social content planning, programming, publishing, and tagging
• Assist with originating content to drive community participation, wellness campaigns, and Team Member highlights.
• Monitor emerging sites and communication channels
• Track channel growth of social media brand pages and other pages as needed; use findings to maximize growth opportunities
• Serve as an internal expert and ambassador, sharing best practices and content guidelines with HR and business partners
• Partner with marketing and sales to communicate relevant site events and offers
• Actively partner with social media teams across businesses to share best practices and develop compelling content
• Ability to influence and leverage the organization through knowledge, being savvy, having grace under pressure and confidence
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
• High School diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Communications is preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience within social media/marketing/communication role
• Excellent presentation, written/verbal, and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Working knowledge of social media tools analytics tools
• Familiar with basic photo/video editing, creating; a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Experience in theme park or hospitality industry
