OVERVIEW
This is an exciting role where you will play a key role in supporting our International Productions. You'll be a key point of contact and partner to NBCUniversal Film and TV Productions as well as Universal International Studios production companies, providing advice, training and support to employees and freelancers in close collaboration with the wider Production HR Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide day-to-day support to the production teams and production companies with a proactive and customer service-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond in supporting the HR team.
• Maintain and update HR systems (SAP, EuHReka and E-days) and any other HR technology as required, including all actions from new hires, leavers, merit increases, employment changes and leavers.
• Lead on and oversea all people processes including new joiner onboarding, parental leave and leavers.
• Process SAP transactions for employee lifecycle data changes including new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, leave of absences, and more. Ensuring accuracy and high attention to detail
• Act as the first confidential point of contact for employee & freelancer queries.
• Partner with the compensation team to ensure competitive benchmarking for new hires and internal changes.
• Support the Production HR team in organising and facilitate training sessions and events; production kickstart meetings
• Work with HR colleagues and payroll to ensure all monthly payroll changes are processed in an accurate and timely manner
• Track and capture all visa and immigration related documentation, work with Global Mobility as required
• Assist in the recruitment process with TA
• Partner with early careers and 3rd parties to support internship placements across the Production Companies and productions.
• Support the Production HR team in managing the work placement programmes across the Productions
• With support from senior HR colleagues, lead on lower risk employment relations cases.
• Provide confidential and diligent administrative support to complex employee relations cases including note taking, preparing documentation and updating case files. Delivering these in a timely manner to the HR management team
• Collaborate and engage with the International HR teams, getting involved in supporting HR wide initiatives
• Ad-hoc projects as required
Qualifications
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• A methodical, accurate and organised approach, with excellent attention to detail

• Proven ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines in a busy, ever-changing environment
• Ability to manage your time effectively and work autonomously with limited need for guidance and supervision

• The ability to remain discreet and professional and maintain confidentiality of information
• A strong customer service ethos - always putting the needs of the employee and manager first
• An understanding of the employee life cycle
• A foundational knowledge of HR practices and procedures, preferably within a large, matrix organization
• Experience of undertaking transactional HR administrative work, including data entry into HR systems and creating paperwork
Desirable:
• Knowledge/experience of working within a Production environment
• Up to date knowledge of relevant Covid protocols across Europe
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
• Experience of working with HR systems and processes
• Excellent computer skills: strong knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook / Excel / Word / Powerpoint /Teams) and SAP
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English
