The Senior Director, Account Management collaborates with a global team of sales, business development, marketing, operations, and business analytics professionals to optimize transactional film and TV revenue across digital distribution partners in the U.S. and Canada. In this multifaceted role, the Senior Director holds end-to-end responsibility for an account portfolio, driving revenue and strategic alignment with NBCU goals. The role also involves leading strategic reviews and driving innovation in our go-to-market approach with partners. This position reports to the Vice President, Digital Platforms.
Responsibilities
• Build strong, consultative, strategic relationships with external and internal partners that lead to overall business growth
• Collaborate with partners to develop innovative merchandising and marketing plans in support of film and TV releases
• Leverage data analytics and market-driven insights to identify incremental revenue opportunities and guide business and strategic decisions
• Create and execute partner business plans; develop presentation templates and storytelling frameworks for use across all reviews
• Develop business rationale for product and lifecycle pricing strategies; negotiate programming, pricing, and promotional opportunities to maximize revenue and consumer engagement
• Provide thought leadership on transactional partner dynamics and their end consumers
• Lead innovation with partners through ideation, testing, and analysis to grow the business
• Drive process improvement, scalability, and efficiency in workflows across account and customer marketing teams
• Ensure alignment with cross-functional stakeholders on partner strategy and execution
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of account management, strategic planning, or management consulting experience
Desired Characteristics
• Masters in Business Administration degree preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication, writing, and project management skills
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities, demonstrate follow-through, and be solutions-oriented
• Comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders
• Passion for the digital content business, with an innate curiosity and proven problem-solving abilities
• Adaptable to ambiguity and change; initiates innovation and creative thinking
• High degree of computer proficiency, including strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
