The Role
The Production Coordinator will assist in managing third-party productions for unscripted programming, covering a wide range of formats from multi-cam stage shows to docu-reality and competition. Responsibilities include managing document distribution, coordinating schedules, supporting internal workflows, and assisting with both pre-production and delivery. This position reports to a Senior Manager/Director of Unscripted Physical Production in Los Angeles, who supervises all aspects of unscripted production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage complex calendars for executives and arrange production calls involving multiple teams.
• Handle administrative tasks such as processing travel arrangements (domestic and international) and submitting expense reports.
• Coordinate document distribution and manage production information flow, utilizing internal tools and databases.
• Audit production materials during prep, production, and wrap phases.
• Participate in beta testing of proprietary apps, providing feedback on the end-user experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams and production coordinators to streamline workflows across apps and content teams.
• Attend production meetings for a large number of titles and assist in coordinating these meetings.
• Liaise with production partners to ensure they are trained on internal tools and workflows.
• Help organize department activities and events, including offsites and team-building activities.
• Assist in identifying and recruiting high-quality production staff and crew.
• Perform any other duties necessary to support production and departmental needs.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in production management, ideally at the Production Coordinator level.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple projects in various stages of production.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and respond proactively to needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Mail, Drive).
• Passion for production management and curiosity about the industry.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $245,000, with the option to choose compensation as a mix of salary and stock options.
