Netflix
Los Angeles, CAThis is a Full Time Job
About Netflix:
Members can watch as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, on any Internet-connected screen. We are at a very exciting stage of evolution at Netflix. With the growth in employee population, lines of business, geo-diversity, and heterogeneity of the workforce, it is imperative that the Talent function evolves accordingly, to shape and support this progress.
One of the most critical elements of this evolution is the foundational ecosystem upon which we can scale personalized and inclusive experiences for the workforce. The Talent Experience Operations (TEO) team is primarily responsible for developing this ecosystem, the Department Assistant team being one tasked with delivering such experiences. This role is additive to the leadership team and will provide an opportunity to shape the path forward as to how we can help executives and their admins with high touch, anticipatory and concierge-like experiences.
About the Role:
As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking an experienced operations leader to support and scale our Department Assistant program. The ideal candidate will be experienced in designing a user-centric operation, driving global strategy, running high-functioning/fast-moving operations, developing metrics/reporting, managing people managers and influencing senior leaders/stakeholders.
Other sought after attributes include being a self-starter and comfortable working autonomously, being a highly collaborative, strategic partner to the business, and designing solutions which are intuitive, for the long term, and highly tuned with our culture and customers.
In this role you will:
• Oversee the US/Canada (UCAN) Department Assistant program, which is comprised of over 30 Department Assistants (local and remote) and 2 Managers, responsible for delivering world class customer experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including peer leaders within regions (LATAM, EMEA, and APAC), Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, business leaders and other business units, to ensure seamless integration of operations, program management, and sustained alignment of roadmap with strategic goals
• Help drive transformational programs to enhance capabilities and support organizational evolutions
• Influence and collaborate with senior leadership; build and maintain a strong and efficient communication channel with stakeholders at all levels, focusing on key messages tailored to audience and needs
• Serve as a subject matter expert in scaled operations, providing guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders
We want someone who has:
• A Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of people leadership, with small to medium size teams under remit, in an operations-related function
• Strong knowledge of administrative/production assistant best practices, tools, and technology, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and scalability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. In particular, outstanding capacity to tailor messages to audiences, and to simplify the complex
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess operational challenges and develop effective solutions
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical decision-making
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
