The Netflix recruiting team helps develop strategies to ensure inclusion and diversity are a priority. The Inclusion Recruiting Programs (IRP) team focuses on increasing the diversity of Netflix's recruiting pipelines while building inclusive and accessible pathways to join Netflix. The team equips our recruiters and researchers with tools and resources for inclusive hiring, and engagement opportunities with underrepresented talent, and invests in groups and organizations that lend to the increase of diversity in our future pipelines.
The Emerging Talent Team is looking for a Program Manager dedicated to building and supporting our Emerging Talent Programs, including our New Grad Program, Internship, and Netflix Pathways Bootcamp (pipeline program). This individual will work alongside a team of Emerging Talent Program Managers and Coordinators in an effort to develop and increase the pipeline of under-represented Emerging Talent. This role is truly a blue-sky opportunity on a new team to create and amplify your vision for a more diverse and inclusive tomorrow.
In this role, you will:
• Own and/or support the end-to-end program management of our three signature programs - New Grad, Internship, and the Netflix Pathways Bootcamp. This includes and is not limited to, program strategy and assessment, candidate or student experience, internal engagement (eg mentorship), and program infrastructure
• Create, deliver, and execute innovative programming to attract, retain, and develop underrepresented students to roles at Netflix
• Identify and manage key external partnerships with trusted organizations or entities that support and promote the advancement of traditionally underrepresented students, eg HBCUs, HSIs, and nonprofits
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge with industry insights within the Early Career and DEI recruiting landscape
• Understand our evolving Netflix business priorities and align program strategy to support while maintaining a long-term vision on how to diversify our workforce
You Are:
• A champion for inclusion and diversity and have experience working with underrepresented populations and students
• A relationship builder and nurturer of long-term relationships with underrepresented students and the institutions or organizations that serve them
• Someone who demonstrates excellent EQ and an empathetic communication style that fosters connection, collaboration, and confidence
• A strong program manager with experience driving measurable programs and initiatives with clear participant outcomes
• Able to independently prioritize workload and lead multiple projects at once
• Skilled at establishing relationships at all internal organizational levels
• Student-centric in your approach and have a passion for coaching and advising
• A strong written and verbal communicator that enjoys creating and facilitating presentations, webinars, and additional experiential touchpoints with emerging talent
• Energized by an ambiguous, ever-changing, fast-paced environment, are a natural problem solver and have an entrepreneurial mindset
• A leader who will offer innovative and constructive ideas to challenge the status quo
• Proactive; taking initiative and follow-through is a must
