The Workplace Coordinator will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience to all staff and visitors, ensuring we are using resources to the optimum.
The successful candidate will be proactive, creative and will be a thought-partner to the whole Workplace team, encouraged to express new ideas on improving the overall experience in the workplace.
This role reports directly to the Workplace Experience Manager.
Job responsibilities include:
• Ensure an exceptional experience for all stakeholders, to include staff, visiting employees, new hires, guests and interview candidates.
• Promote a high level of satisfaction among staff by promptly responding to their service requirements. Ensure the same level of service from team members and Workplace vendors.
• Demonstrate a desire to remain close to the business to understand the impact of an exceptional Workplace Experience.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and immediate team members to support the delivery of operational excellence, continuously evaluating existing processes to identify areas of improvement to move Netflix forward.
• Work collaboratively with vendors to ensure high levels of service, maintaining solid communication and good working relationships.
• Assist Front of House vendor with Reception and Corporate logistics duties, presenting a professional and welcoming first contact to all visitors.
• Support the Workplace Experience Manager to ensure a high level of service and quality with on-site catering services.
• Working across various contact streams to assign, monitor and complete employee requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist the Workplace Experience Manager with staff engagement and Workplace communications, including but not limited to management of Workplace ELP content.
• Manage office supplies, from design conception to stock control. To include but not limited to, stationery, swag, front of house supplies.
• Work with external vendors and Workplace Operations team members to actively improve and promote our sustainability performance.
• Assist with planning, coordination and set up for any employee engagement events within the office - working with partners, vendors and stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful execution. Lead on seasonal decor and activations e.g. Earth Month, Cultural Holidays, Etc.
• Work collaboratively with Workplace Operations on office aesthetics
• Work collaboratively with Workplace Operations to Onboard and welcome new employees into their new workplace.
• Work with Workplace Operations to ensure that Health and Safety within the workplace is always observed.
• Support Workplace Management and Operations teams on an ad-hoc basis as well as other UCAN Workplace teams.
Requirements:
• Experience in a similar position for a minimum of 3-5 years is needed to be successful in this role
• A team player of approachable and social disposition, with ability to maintain successful relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
• Customer service driven, with the ability to demonstrate innovation and drive
• Self motivated and proactive, with confidence in knowing when to make a decision, and when to seek further clarification
• A strategic thinker who demonstrates good judgment to shape and grow their role.
• Details driven with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrable problem solving skills, with the ability to exercise excellent judgment in reaction to the current needs of the workplace
• Accustomed to multitasking in a fast-paced creative environment, with strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
• Flexible attitude and willingness to sometimes work outside of the usual office hours
• Knowledge and proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, etc.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of and embraces the Netflix Culture
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000 - $190,000.
Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
