The Bristol Blues are a summer-season collegiate baseball team. We are members of the New England Collegiate Baseball League and play a 22-home game season out of historic Muzzy Field in Bristol, Connecticut. Since the organization's conception in 2015, we have achieved three championship appearances, three semi-final appearances, and one quarter-final appearance. We pride ourselves on providing a fun, affordable night out for fans of all ages paired with high-quality baseball. It is our goal to provide team members with a valuable learning experience where they will receive exposure to every part of the organization.
Skills Wanted:
• Understanding of baseball scoring rules and statistical tracking.
• Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week.
• Must work all 22 home games and potential playoff games during the 2025 season.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Record every play in the game using official scoring rules (hits, errors, fielder's choices, etc.).
• Keep accurate pitch counts and player statistics.
• Ensure all stats are properly entered into Pointstreak for real-time updates.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with the scoring system.
• Other duties as assigned.
Experience / Qualifications Required:
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to work long hours, evenings and weekends
• Thorough understanding of the rules of baseball
Start Date: June 6th
