Description:

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR function for the New York Yankees in all areas of the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a smart, energetic professional beginning a career in Human Resources. This position will be based at the New York Yankees' facilities in Tampa, Florida.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and administering various human resources policies and programs for all organization personnel, and responding to inquiries regarding same
• Provide onsite support to employees in Florida, as well as remote support to employees in the Dominican Republic and around the United States
• Perform all onboarding functions for Spring Training and Tampa Tarpons game day staff and assist with onboarding of full-time employees based outside of New York
• Support the administration of benefit plans including, but not limited to, employer 401k, pension, and health and welfare plans
• Provide support for HRIS administration and timekeeping processing
• Maintain employee files, prepare HR reporting and handle employment verification requests
• Assist in planning employee engagement and volunteer activities throughout the year
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Support the HR department on all administrative duties as needed and/or other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field of study
• Bilingual (Spanish) required
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Experience using ADP and ABI databases preferred
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
• High level of organization and attention to detail, with an ability to multi-task
• Flexible work schedule (especially in Q1 of each year)
