Full Posting:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro for newscasts
• Floor directing and managing studio floor during live broadcasts
• Operating studio cameras, jib, Steadicam, and audio board for live newscasts
• Communicating all technical and staging requirements between producers and directors
• Collaborating with producers and directors on production elements, lighting, camera-blocking, props, and set furnishings
• Managing guests who appear in newscasts
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 2 or more years of professional experience in television production
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to run an audio board for live newscasts, floor direct, and manage the studio floor
• Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and communicate with production crew effectively
• Excellent judgment and timely decision-making in a live news production environment
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of news video and audio production equipment technologies
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Knowledge of non-linear video editing
• Able to make quick decisions and give accurate instructions to crew during live broadcasts
• Works well as part of a team
• Demonstrates innovative thinking and creativity in responsibilities
