Prep Pigskin Report – Sports Videographer (San Diego County)
Location: San Diego, CA (Traveling required)
Position Type: Temporary/Seasonal (August to December)

The Prep Pigskin Report (PPR) is offering a temporary position for a Sports Videographer to cover high school football games from mid-August through the Silver Pigskin Gala in December. The PPR has been an excellent entry-level opportunity for aspiring videographers, many of whom have gone on to work for San Diego TV stations.

Basic Requirements:
• Looking for videographers, not still photographers.
• Must have personal broadcast-quality gear, including a video camera, microphone, tripod, and lavalier.
• Experience filming sports (high school football preferred).
• Must be punctual and willing to learn quickly.
• Must be available to work Friday nights from mid-August through December.
• A clean driving record is required.

Job Qualifications:
• Required:
- Filming experience.
- Ability to travel within San Diego County.
- Personal access to camera equipment.
- Availability from August 1 to December 15.
• Preferred:
- Familiarity with Adobe and Final Cut editing products.

Compensation:
• $18/hour, part-time (approximately 8 hours per week).
• Additional stipend for the use of personal equipment.
