EVS/LSM Operator - Freelance

Job Description:
• The NFL Network is currently looking for experienced Live Playback and EVS/LSM Operators with previous experience working in a live sports studio environment.

Technical Qualifications:
• Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of live studio show or remote experience working with ingest of baseband fiber and satellite feeds into to a server system and live playback to air.
• Expert level experience working with the EVS/LSM in a studio or remote environment. Ability to create playlists, advanced ability to edit sound, broll packages and highlights, ingest live feeds and play back that content directly to air using the EVS. Ability to transfer video clips to and from the X File and to troubleshoot software issues with the EVS/LSM independently.
• Previous experience ingesting live remote and studio feeds to a centralized storage XSAN utilizing broadcast routers.
• General knowledge broadcast XY routers, specifically the NVISION NV 9601 and NVISION NV 9616 router panels.
• Familiarity with operating broadcast tape machines in the DVCPRO format as well as Digital Betacam, and DVD burners.
• Familiarity with ENPS and the ability to follow a live show rundown.

General Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to handle critical deadlines and short turnarounds in a fast-paced live broadcast environment. Possess excellent communication skills that allow for highly productive workflows between Transmission, Studio Control Rooms, Show Directors, Newsdesk Associates and Production departments.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays. The NFL workload is heavily focused on weekend and holiday hours, so there is an expectation that the candidate has a flexible schedule and is willing to work during these prime hours as needed.
• Must have a demonstrated interest and knowledge of the game of football and the NFL. In-depth awareness of the league, current rosters and rules are a crucial skill needed for this position.
• Applicant must have an incredible attention to detail, be well organized, a quick learner, and have the energetic personality to fit into a fun but often hectic environment.
