This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Nickelodeon Animation Studio is looking for a Production and Technology Strategy Intern for the summer of 2025.
The intern will interface directly with our Production and Technology Strategy team which is responsible for driving continuous improvement projects that support NAS productions and workflows. This includes projects that facilitate increased efficiency and lower operating costs of production, internally with NAS production and technology departments, and externally with outside partner studios.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and support tools and procedures that maintain and enhance the production pipeline
• Work closely with various departments to streamline and develop the production workflow
• Propose, design, develop, implement, test, and support software to existing studio pipelines
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues
Qualifications:
• Strong Python or C++ programming skills
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Preferred experience with Maya, Blender, Houdini, Nuke, Redshift, Unreal, or Arnold
• Coursework or other studies in computer science, computer graphics, or 3D game development
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Exceptional communication skills
Eligibility:
• Internships are available to students pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate Degree. Certifications and continuing education are accepted as well!
• Open to graduates who have graduated within 6 months of June 2025.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/40 hours a week) for 10 weeks starting in June 2025.
• Interns will be required to work on-site in Burbank, CA.
• Employment eligibility work in the United States is required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $20.0. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington State, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
