Marketing - Social Media Specialist (with focus in Indian Market)

Our company is currently seeking a self-driven, motivated, organized, and talented Marketing- Social Media Specialist (with focus in Indian market) to assist the Marketing efforts of our New York, NY office. The specialist will help the company to build its brand and audience in the Indian market by designing, executing and adjusting marketing strategies to establish a vigorous, trustful and professional image among potential Indian clients.

Responsibilities

Identify platforms the company needs to have a presence on and connect with major influencers in the industry
Design a cohesive marketing plan across different social media platforms to engage audience
Set up and operate company's Instagram, Facebook and other major social media accounts
SEO - Improve company's appearance and ranking in relevant search results in major search engines
Create marketing content and materials (such as proposals, opinions of value, posters, flyers, H5, infographs etc.)
Report to the CEO and other management members on marketing

Qualifications
Pursuing a B.A. degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related field is preferred
Solid understanding of Indian social media channels and platforms
Fluency in Hindi and English (both written and verbal)
Ability to effectively communicate and work in a team environment
Proactive in accomplishing tasks
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to interact with staff at all levels
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous deadlines
Experience working in Microsoft programs (Word and Excel).
Experience working in graphic design programs (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator) a plus
