Promotion and Social Media Director

This is a Full Time Job

O'Fallon Baseball Group, operators of CarShield Field, the O'Fallon Hoots of the Prospect League and the CarShield Collegiate League, are searching for a Director of Promotions and Social Media.

Here's what we need:

• A do-whatever-it-takes mentality as it pertains to all facets of the organization
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Video and graphic editing experience
• Experience working in promotions, entertainment or marketing with a sports team is highly preferred, but not a requirement

Here's what you'll be doing:
• Reporting directly to the General Manager
• Soliciting group ticket sales to designated territory as assigned by General Manager
• Being responsible for gathering social media content to be used throughout the year (Photo and video content from games and special events)
• Managing the Hoots social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and any new, emerging platforms)
• Developing and producing short and longform digital content
• Hiring and managing all marketing and promotions interns
• Being responsible for all in-game entertainment and personnel including music, on-field activities, National Anthem and dance performances and videography and photography
• Overseeing and executing on mascot appearance calendar for outside events
• Performing any additional duties or tasks as assigned by the General Manager

Salary:
$30,000. 5% commissions on renewed cash sales (less cost of goods). 10% on all new cash sales. Estimated annual salary with commissions and bonus $35,000.
