This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Internship Term: Spring 2025 (January - April)
Internship Location: On-Site in Indianapolis, IN
Anticipated Time Commitment: approximately 20 - 25 hours per week
Pacers Sports & Entertainment is seeking a Game Operations Intern that will assist in the coordination of talent for Pacers and/or Fever home games; assist with the Pacers and Fever mascots on their appearances; assist with the Fever Inferno and Indiana Pacemates on their appearances; assist with the set-up/tear-down concourse entertainment for Pacers and/or Fever home games; and assist in coordination and on-floor execution of game timeouts, contests, game activities and events prior to, during, and after games.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the coordination and transportation of talent as they pertain to our NBA and WNBA Mascots, including driving the company van to appearances with mascots.
• Assist Mascots and Power Pack in their appearances.
• Assist with general office duties and game preparation.
• Assist in coordination and on floor execution of game timeouts; contests; game activities and events prior to, during, and after games.
• Assist with lifting and transporting boxes to and from the Fieldhouse (must be comfortable lifting heavy objects).
• Assist with Concourse setup/tear down before and after games.
• Sit in on all Game Operations and Marketing meetings.
• Participate in various assignments and projects including but not limited to interaction and information exchange with other NBA and WNBA teams.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Enrolled in a college or university program as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
• Sports Marketing, Sports Management, or other related major preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, including over the phone.
• Efficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong writing skills.
• Detail-oriented nature.
• Ability to deal with internal and external clients in a professional manner.
• Ability to keep track of multiple calendars.
• Good driving record (valid driver's license is required).
• Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate and the noise level in the Fieldhouse / game environment is usually loud. The stress level may become high during certain times of the year.
