Coordinator, Worldwide Photography
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Department: Worldwide Photography
Paramount Pictures is seeking a Coordinator to support the Worldwide Photography Department, which oversees all photographs for motion picture theatrical releases. The Coordinator will report to the VP of the Photo Department and assist with various projects.
Responsibilities:
• Build pitch decks for special shoots and proposed photographers.
• Coordinate photographer contracts with Legal.
• Create photo wish lists and coordinate special shoots with talent.
• Manage Airtable databases and track photo requests and approvals.
• Produce calendars, schedules, call sheets, and event materials, including Photo ID sheets.
• Handle RSVPs for photo events.
• Track vendors and internal users reviewing imagery.
• Assist with archiving, meeting materials, special events, and international tours.
• Handle invoices and purchase orders.
• Research reference materials for special shoots.
• Coordinate access to Image.net for international territories.
• Maintain a database of unit and special shoot photographers.
• Serve as photo assistant on tent-pole films.
• Track image availability for international territories.
• Build relationships with personnel from international territories.
• Prepare expense reports and handle travel arrangements for the VP.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Photography, Fine Arts, or Film).
- 1+ years of assistant experience in entertainment.
- Photography background and knowledge of professional cameras.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom).
• Desired skills/experience:
- Experience with print and digital press outlets, publicists, filmmakers, and entertainment events.
- Knowledge of mainstream digital platforms and marketing.
- Experience with creative content for digital platforms and motion posters.
- Experience in billing/finance.
- Strong people and organizational skills.
Compensation:
Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year.
