Overview & Responsibilities:
The position is responsible for supporting the Director of Marketing Finance and is responsible for preparing & analyzing budgets, flows & other various functions of the Domestic marketing finance team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Handle budgeting for all films for Basics and Media. Prepare and manage the budgets on a weekly, quarterly & annual basis.
• Handle budget for awards and conventions. Including cost reports, budget template updates and overall management of awards and conventions budgets.
• Manage month/quarterly accruals.
• Handle various allocations across the department.
• Handle all financial responsibilities for the in-house agency, including the quarterly/annual updates. Work in partnership with the in-house agency supervisor on compiling billing estimates and provide updates during reporting periods.
• Systems expert for the department. Partner with IT to manage system improvements and implementations, acting as a liaison between IT and Operations to ensure all business needs are properly met, and all systems are developed with adequate financial controls. Plus oversee all user training and troubleshoot all issues.
• Main point of contact for sourcing initiatives. Gathering of data and analyzing cost and saving strategies.
• Hyperion and ultimate updates as necessary.
• Prepares ad hoc reports and analysis as requested at the direction of senior management.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree
• 6 to 7 years or more of Finance/Accounting experience
• SAP experience
Additional Qualifications
• Entertainment experience preferred
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
• Good analytical skills and detail oriented
• Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $85,600.00 - 115,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
