Overview and Responsibilities
The Senior Vice President of Post Production and Innovation is responsible for leading and overseeing Post Production projects for Paramount Pictures feature film and driving innovation strategies related to new and emerging technologies for the studio. They will collaborate with creative production and executive teams to optimize workflows, manage budgets, and implement innovative tools and systems. They will work in conjunction with physical production, film executives, producers, and department heads to ensure that films are produced at the highest quality. This position will also work closely with Business Affairs, Creative Executives, Production Finance, Labor, and Production Facilities.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Oversee all aspects of post production for assigned slate of films, from early editorial phases through to delivery, ensuring the highest quality of output and achieving budgetary and timeline goals for worldwide theatrical releases.
• Create and maintain all finishing and delivery workflows for the marketing distribution departments.
• Drive innovation by researching, evaluating and implementing new technologies and workflows to streamline post production processes and improve efficiency. Present use cases and standard processes for the use of pioneering, emerging technologies across the studio.
• Negotiate all delivery schedules and timelines for productions/acquisitions within the legal and business affairs teams. Lead negotiations with finishing house vendors on rates and turnaround time.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, creative teams, and external partners to align post production processes with the creative vision of each film.
• Ensure adherence to budget and schedule constraints while maintaining creative and technical excellence.
• Evaluate the current post-workflow and pipeline to align with standard processes.
• Act as point of escalation for team when there are potential financial, creative, technical or deadline problems for their projects.
• Advocate the continuous improvement of our tools and processes throughout all stages of the development and production cycles.
• Develops, approves, and monitors post production budgets and schedules for assigned slate of films.
• Build and maintain relationships with producers, directors and production companies to ensure a steady flow of communication and timely turnaround of deliverables.
• Oversee, provide direction to and create alignment with Post Supervisors and other team who determine post production requirements for each project.
• Oversee the company’s library and assets, while maintaining digital security of our product and assets.
Basic Qualifications
• 15 years of experience working in post production for film and/or TV; live action feature film experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of film community including but not limited to writers, directors, producers, and key crew members.
• Proficient in budgeting and cost estimation for diverse production methods, with specialized expertise in bottom up budgeting.
• Ability to travel to both domestic and international locations.
• Experience working both in the field and in a corporate environment.
• Proven ability to manage teams with a track record of delivering high profile film projects on time and within budget.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings with short notice.
• Knowledge of 4k Post Production Workflow and Final Delivery for both theatrical and streaming.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $320,000.00 - $330,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
