Communications Coordinator
Position Summary:
Paramount Global is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support senior leaders in the Communications department, assisting with press releases, press lists, media monitoring, internal communications, and event support for major projects and announcements.
Responsibilities:
• Manage Paramount Global press releases and press lists; update Paramount Press Express site with assets and priority titles during key events
• Develop and maintain a master press release calendar, aligning with senior leaders and studio partners
• Monitor media outlets and social media for Paramount Global references; contribute to weekly press coverage reports and track competitor initiatives
• Create and update press materials (bios, talking points, synopses); support internal newsletters and communications
• Track the communications budget, process invoices, and assist with finance reporting
• Provide support to Cross Company (XCo) and Internal Communications Teams with writing, reports, and employee communications
• Research and track editorial calendars, executive speaking opportunities, and awards
• Handle press and vendor inquiries, escalating issues as necessary
• Assist with screenings, conventions, and special events as needed
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in publicity within a streaming platform, network, studio, or agency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, PowerPoint, Slack, and basic database management
Additional Qualifications:
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent troubleshooting abilities

Salary and Benefits:
