Overview
The CPG Manager will play an integral role helping grow Paramount’s domestic food & beverage licensing portfolio while also working closely with the VP to directly lead all aspects of retail development in the US Grocery, Drug and Club channels. They will help deliver CPG product strategies and own all facets of licensee management internally and externally for the assigned businesses. They will also help lead buyer relationships, program development and sell in, and overall business management at priority retailers in the assigned channels.
This is a very unique hybrid position operating in both line of business and retail development capacities. They will be driving the full cycle from licensee collaboration through retailer execution providing a tremendous opportunity to learn and impact many facets of the business. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter able to take ownership and be a vital part of an incredible team. They will be working across collaborators, properties and categories so excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This position has an opportunity to work across the entire Paramount portfolio with some of most iconic properties in entertainment including but not limited to Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, MTV, Comedy Central, and CBS.

Responsibilities
• Establish annual financial goals and strategies to realize long-term business objectives
• Manage the overall licensee relationship including day to day category operations, contract administration and renewals, product development stewardship, business reviews, and quarterly financial forecasting and attainment
• Provide licensee support by compiling and communicating materials including property overviews, category success stories, press releases, retail initiatives, etc.
• Identify, analyze and negotiate new business deals and seek opportunities for growth
• Evaluate and action against white space opportunities by assessing market trends and competition through data, insights and in market observations
• Help handle the sell-in and sell-thru at retail of key items and promotions working directly with the VP, buyers and partner sales teams
• Develop elevated sales pitches & presentations to buyers and sales partners to showcase how Paramount consumer products help retailers meet their goals
• Cultivate relationships and regularly provide and/or present compelling information to key buyers at priority retailers and licensee sales contacts
• Handle daily communications with licensees, retailers, partners and internal collaborators
• Work seamlessly with internal teams such as Creative, Finance, Legal, Global, Retail Development and Retail Marketing to cultivate collaboration and ensure business success
• Prepare retail, product and strategy presentations for internal collaborators
Basic Qualifications
• 3 years CPG experience preferably in entertainment licensing
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Established licensee management and/or entertainment sales track record
• Strong understanding of the food & beverage industry and retail environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $75,000.00 - 100,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
Salary/Benefits
$75,000.00 - 100,000.00 per year
