The Paramount International Marketing team is looking for a Director of Marketing Automation & Personalization to help our international marketing efforts across multiple streaming brands! As a leader in this role, you will be responsible for driving marketing technology for Paramount International users across paid media, helping automate workflows, and overseeing on-platform personalization.
This Director will have the exciting chance to create a significant impact while working with a diverse and dynamic group of professionals. This role will have regular interaction with Marketing Leads, Product, Business Insights, Merchandising and other Marketing groups. Come join this innovative and rapidly growing team!
Responsibilities:
• Help develop and implement a well-rounded marketing automation strategy that encompasses both customer retention and acquisition efforts
• Find opportunities to leverage marketing automation tools and technologies to improve drive revenue growth and customer experiences
• Responsible for driving automation across paid ads and paid media
• Work with the acquisition team on A/B testing to optimize campaign performance
• Collaborate closely with the product team to understand new features and improvements, and develop marketing strategies to promote them effectively
• Support in the evaluation and prioritization of business priorities by considering their potential impact on crucial measures such as revenue, customer acquisitions, retention, and customer lifetime value
• Maintain and prioritize the product roadmap for marketing automation, including creating tickets and collaborating with cross-functional partners to align with the overall roadmap
• Work with Merchandisers to analyze merchandising performance per region to ensure coverage
• Leverage third-party tools like Smartly, Kochava, and Liveramp for ad creation, tracking, and audience segmentation
• Support asset automation and ROI tracking
• Track the ongoing performance of personalization/automation features and identify areas of improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional product and business teams to identify new opportunities for personalization and automation
• Build and lead personalization workflows as needed
• Build and deliver presentations that explain experimentation practices, recommendation capabilities, and roadmaps
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of experience in product management, automation preferred
• Strong understanding of ad tech platforms (Smartly, Kochava, Liveramp, etc.)
• Strong understanding of partnership management platforms (Impact Radius, etc.)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present high-quality documents to leadership
Additional Qualifications
• Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with drafting PRDs and the process of integrating SDKs
• Experience with mobile development, CDPs, and MMPs
• Experience with data enrichment tools for audience segmentation at the household level (e.g., identifying income levels, household composition)
• Familiarity with purchase funnel optimization and organic traffic growth strategies
• Experience with product management and project management required
• Adaptability to changing schedules and delivery requirements
• Proven collaboration with partners and cross-functional teams
• Highly organized, analytical, and meticulous with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Knowledge of modern AI/ML approaches and experience with personalization and recommendation products
• Familiarity with multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Amazon, Roku, Apple TV) and software/tools (Jira, Excel, Adobe Analytics)
• Streaming industry experience, including knowledge of current trends
• Experience with Python
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $124,000.00 - 175,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
Salary/Benefits
$124,000.00 - 175,000.00 per year
