• Salary: $47,000 - $57,500
• Workplace Requirements: Knowledge of Apple operating system, Microsoft Office, Keynote, and Slack; must be able to handle administrative tasks and support the Executive Assistant when required.
• Years of Experience Required: 0-2 years (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
• Education Requirements: B.A. required (English, Communications, or Journalism major preferred).
• Hard Skills Required: Writing experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Keynote, editorial proofreading and copywriting, research and presentation skills.
• Soft Skills Required: Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to collaborate across departments, solutions-oriented.
• Preferred Skills/Experience: Internship experience in marketing, advertising, or media is a plus; previous administrative experience is beneficial.

Editorial Assistant (Freelance)
We are looking for a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented person to join our innovative in-house advertising, marketing, and branding studio. This is an entry-level role that provides exposure to various areas of the business, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to learn about the media industry. Creative writing experience is required, as this position serves as an entryway into our writing staff.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Editorial team on projects with research and brainstorming.
• Draft communications for senior team members, including the EVP.
• Develop content plans and assets for social media and Slack channels.
• Conduct industry research and present findings.
• Organize departmental outings, staff meetings, and initiatives.
• Schedule and plan staff meetings.
• Coordinate attendance for conferences and events.
• Maintain status reports, databases, and portfolios.
• Assist with reconciling expenses.
• Perform editorial proofreading and copywriting as core duties are mastered.
• Occasionally provide coverage for the Executive Assistant.
Basic Qualifications:
• B.A. in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Writing experience (can be from internships or school).
• 0-2 years of experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
• Internship in marketing, advertising, media, or related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of Apple operating system and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, Keynote, and Slack.
