Overview and Responsibilities:
The Advanced Technology department’s Agile PMO & Digital Transformation group is seeking an individual to support the Video Technology Group (VTG). VTG develops industry-leading online and mobile video delivery systems and IP for Paramount , Pluto TV, CBSSports.com, CBS News, Viacom and more. Our team is responsible for the delivery of premium content to millions of people every day! We set company-wide video standards and help internal business units integrate the video delivery stack into their specific online products. Additionally, the team serves as the company’s information resource on current and future trends in digital video. VTG works across the entire video ecosystem to enable all Paramount Global business units to deliver high-quality video through the use of cutting-edge technologies in order to maximize user engagement and revenue. This role will directly support the Live Video Streaming VTG team responsible for development of several products for Live Streaming.

Basic Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager / Scrum Master who is passionate about large scale video ecosystems and cares about quality, alignment, and the overall seamless delivery of best-in-class consumer applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the adoption of Scrum and Scaled Agile frameworks.
As a Sr. TPM / SM within VTG, you'll be responsible for evangelizing PMO best practices across the organization and will be partnering with Product & Engineering Managers who are building the video processing pipelines for the Paramount Global streaming platforms and will assist them navigate the backlog, identifying and removing impediments. You will assist scrum teams to reach high productivity and velocity by coaching and facilitating all scrum agile practices. Does this sound like you?
Your Day-to-Day:
• Leading day-to-day agile ceremonies, tracking team health with agile metrics, and coaching teams in relentless improvement.
• Drive cross-team communication and transparency by providing accurate and proactive project tracking to the larger organization.
• Participate in quarterly big-room planning, coordinate with the rest of the PMO to account for cross-team dependencies, and coach teams towards responsible quarterly commitments.
• Act as an Agile Coach, champion the adoption of agile, and establish best practices and processes to scale the effectiveness and value of the team.
• Identifies, tracks, and removes impediments that may impact team velocity and deliverables.
• As needed, manage the execution of deliverables, track milestones, manage risk and provide program reports to stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience as a an agile technical program manager / scrum master
• Certified Scrum Master certification, and ideally other agile certifications; preferably scaled Agile (SAFe) experience and certification
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies in a large enterprise environment, where Agile practices are scale, as well as with traditional project management
• Experience using Jira - GitHub integrations and Confluence
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience working with video engineering teams, and ideally streaming video
• Technical knowledge of key cloud technologies and tools (AWS, Azure, Docker, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes) and video engineering (video compression, AAC video, and audio codec standards, LIVE and VOD content delivery)
• Experience working in the Media & Entertainment industry
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical or product development related field
