OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Vice President, Government Affairs & Special Projects will promote the company’s work with key constituencies in Washington, DC; plan and organize special events; administer Paramount Global's Political Action Committee (PAC); and effectively strategize with the team to build and maintain relationships both on and off Capitol Hill. Reports to the Executive Vice President.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Organize and direct all aspects of special projects and events hosted by Paramount and its brands, or in conjunction with outside political and third-party groups (guest lists, invites, programming, swag, etc.).
• Coordinate regular screenings of Paramount films and television series.
• Plan all logistics for Congressional visits to Paramount's headquarters in NYC or divisional offices, including Paramount Studios in California.
• Promote and highlight the company’s social impact work and partner with the CSR team.
• Manage Paramount’s PAC including, distribute and track the annual solicitations, track the budget, serve as a liaison between compliance and payroll teams, and work with compliance on contributions.
• Build and maintain relationships with political fundraisers, political organizations, associations, and vendors.
• Create and maintain internal and external contact and distribution lists.
• Prepare lobbying disclosure filings.
• Assist in preparing Government Relations presentations for internal meetings.
• Coordinate and manage internal Government Relations staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10 years of relevant experience in the public affairs sector or for national non-profits.
• Knowledge and familiarity with federal political fundraising or PACs.
• Demonstrated experience organizing and managing special events in a congressional environment or government affairs position.
• Expertise and understanding of Capitol Hill.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Travel as needed.

• Handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $203,200.00 - 254,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
Salary/Benefits
$203,200.00 - 254,000.00 per year
