Recording Studio Supervisor - WEEKNIGHTS
Pen Station Studios is a music recording studio in Santa Monica, CA. We are searching for a night-time Supervisor interested in pursuing a career in audio engineering and/or studio management.
*This is a semi-managerial position that requires leading staff when studio management is not present and ensuring clients are looked after.
The ideal candidates have:
• Experience and/or education in Recording/Mixing, including (but not exclusive to): Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, EDM and similar genres.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a professional Recording Studio.
• Ability to work late nights Monday through Friday.
• Comfort working directly with high-profile talent and in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent time management and communication
• Consistency and reliability.
• Ability to maintain discretion and uphold confidentiality. Must sign an NDA.
• Customer Service and Management experience a plus.
Job responsibilities:
• Maintaining the facility and ensuring all studios are prepped and ready for client sessions.
• Greeting clients and guests.
• Assisting engineering staff with technical and hospitality needs.
• Delegating tasks to runner staff and assistant engineers.
• Reception duties such as answering phones and door intercoms.
• Attending to client requests and mediating any issues that could arise.
