POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for generating sponsorships for the Philadelphia 76ers and other select HBSE properties. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, the Director will partner and work closely with key individuals internally and externally in regard to new business partnerships for HBSE. This role works closely with the Corporate and Marketing Partnerships teams, organization departments, as well as other staff as needed.
The candidate selected for this key role will have a proven track record as a revenue generator, selling successful partnerships as well as consistently securing six and seven-figure investments, and is now looking to further enhance their reputation with one of the leading sports and entertainment companies in the world!
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:
• Develop customized and targeted sales and marketing plans, proposals and presentations in furtherance of HBSE's strategies for optimizing revenue and profitability through enhanced corporate sponsorships and other relationships.
• Align the efforts of individuals and teams from multiple business units to accomplish the goals of the company.
• Project/event-based P&L responsibility.
• Develop and deliver new tools, models and KPIs (including research and data tools) to focus, drive and monitor commercial activities.
• Produce >$1M annually in new business
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 7 years of revenue generation experience in consumer facing commercial environments.
• Expertise in developing and implementing event-based commercial and revenue strategies.
• A track record of driving revenue growth for major events (e.g. entertainment or sports events).
• Known throughout the industry for their poise and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts.
• Proven track record in building successful partnerships as well as consistently securing seven-figure investments with FORTUNE 500 organizations.
• An established reputation and track record of success, gained with any combination of major brands, teams or agencies.
• Strong leadership, commercial, organizational, project management and analytical skills.
• High energy, excellent communicator, engaging, entrepreneurial and has a roll-up-sleeves mentality.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Travel Requirements: Travel required on a TBD basis (<10% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
• Work Environment: This position is based Camden, NJ and will be required to attend home 76ers games and other HBSE events as necessary.
• Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
