Suns Legacy Partners includes several companies and many different departments that support the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury and Footprint Center.

Suns Legacy Partners is seeking a Social Media Intern to support our Phoenix Suns social team. This internship will predominately be focused on game coverage, social media reporting, TikTok and community management. This position will be from March - August 2023.

What Will You Do:
• Collaborate with social team to create new content strategies for showcasing the Phoenix Suns, specifically focused on IG and TikTok
• Support game day coverage for home and away games
• Support publishing across Phoenix Suns channels (IG, FB, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Youtube)
• Engage in community management/fan response across social channels.
• Surface trending topics and conversations in real-time to capitalize on content opportunities.
• Support research and data reporting tasks for the Phoenix Suns influencer program
• Produce weekly reporting decks of channel analytics.

What We Need from Our Intern:
• Knowledge of Social Media Platforms
• Knowledge of trending topics in not just sports but in pop culture with the ability to tie this into the Phoenix Suns.
• At least beginner knowledge of Social Media Analytics Tools
• Intermediate Copywriting
• Experience with Adobe Suite
• An understanding of basketball & the NBA
• Ability to work on a team and individually
• Critical Thinking & Multi-Tasking
• A passion for sports, entertainment, and pop culture
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
• Ability to focus and be flexible in pressure situations and resolve conflicts in a calm and professional manner
• Possess a high level of relationship skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening, weekends, holidays
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Experience & Education:
• A previous internship or college experience managing a social account, voice, strategy across the major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Weibo, etc.)

• Position is predominately computer-based, requiring the use of a computer monitor
• Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person
