Intern - Fashion // Social Media

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

We're looking for a Social Media Intern for a high-end fashion photography studio in Manhattan.

Ideal candidate possesses experience in public relations, multi-platform social media channels, and a base-level understanding of website maintenance (Wordpress). Selected candidate will be responsible for upkeep and growth of all social media for the company and basic website (blog) updates.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be a superb communicator on multiple social media platforms for branding, business and community development purposes.

• Serve as an authority on social media, responding to and engaging our audience as it builds.

• Create written and visually innovative content appropriate for each social media platform to increase engagement.

• Create social media campaigns at the direction of the Digital Media team.

• Analyze, track and report on engagement as audience grows.

Desired Skills and Experience

-Students or graduates applying for this internship should be Marketing/Business or Fashion/Design majors, with 3 years of experience on the Web and a solid understanding of fashion market.

Position requires about 20 hours/week in our office in Chelsea. Days are flexible.
