This is a Full Time Job
The Production Assistant position provides administrative support to the Production Office as directed by a Production Manager and/or Production Office Manager/Assistant. This is a full-time on-site position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create a supportive, friendly, and professional atmosphere in the production office
• Work with the Production Office Manager and Department Coordinators to assist in the daily operation of the feature film and respond where support is needed
• Provide support to Director/Producer Assistants in coordinating of meetings and attendees
• Support Producer/Manager in their need for office work, photocopying, shipping and mailing
• Answer all incoming calls and texts to the feature film production office
• Coordinate lunch and dinner orders, and deliveries on a daily basis
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot video conference calls, pitches, and screenings
• Coordinate departmental scheduling of meetings in Pixar Conference Rooms
• Assist with the setup of hybrid meetings in Pixar Conference rooms
• Assist with the planning and execution of morale-boosting events and department-specific treats
• Maintain the organization and stock of Production Management supplies for everyday use and special events
• This position is an on-site role, you will be expected to be onsite 5 days a week
QUALIFICATIONS:
• General office skills such as scheduling, handling phone calls, typing, and filing
• Flexible nature with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/ activities simultaneously
• Consistency; be able to be the positive face of the production at all times
• Excellent people skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy (ideally Mac proficiency); Google Suite and Slack knowledge preferred
• Strong administrative, detail, and follow-up skills
• Positive 'can do' attitude while maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Working knowledge of database management software a plus (Microsoft, Excel, Filemaker Pro)
• Technical abilities for video conference calls and Production Database
• Film production background preferred
• Positive energy
• Be highly motivated, mature, and eager to be part of the Pixar team
• Ability to maintain focus on priorities among multiple assigned tasks in a dynamic work environment
• Access to an insured automobile and a CA driver's license
