Cafe Receiver

Pixar Culinary Team is seeking an experienced, food knowledgable Cafe Receiver.

This key position is responsible for the procurement, receiving, and physical organization of our high quality, high volume food program. Sourcing seasonal produce and local artisan goods, our Cafe Receiver partners to make our diverse and daily changing menus a reality. Working closely with our Chef team to maintain tidy and efficient walk-ins and store rooms, this critical team player ensures our cafe standards of excellence are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Able to work Full-Time for a 3-month period - (Monday-Friday 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM)
• At least 1 year experience in a similar capacity
• Possess a valid CA Drivers License
• General food knowledge and product identification a must
• Must be able to communicate clearly with vendors, managers, and kitchen team

SKILLS:
• Able to drive a delivery vehicle (GEM Car)
• Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen duties
• General knowledge of common computer software and Web browsers sufficient to view and use internal company information

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Able to work in continuously-standing position for five or more hours
• Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects up to 50 pounds
