PXO are hiring a Recruiter to join our team, hiring for VFX and Virtual Production projects.
This is initially a 1-year fixed term maternity cover contract, starting in March 2025
The Recruiter works closely with the whole Recruitment team and the Resourcing Managers, prioritising recruiting needs across Europe and the Middle East and supporting a team to build a talent pipeline to fulfil the show needs. They will be responsible for seamlessly connecting the hiring and onboarding of new crew to show teams. They will be an effective recruiter, delivering outstanding candidate experience and have a genuine passion for helping create a supportive, positive working environment for crew.
Responsibilities:
• Working closely with resource managers to understand immediate and future hiring requirements and set priorities.
• Advertise and promote opportunities on jobs boards and social media
• Manage job requisitions through the hiring process within our Applicant Tracking System
• Screen candidates over phone or Teams call, to qualify and assess suitability for positions
• Proactively source candidates using the search function within LinkedIn to build pipelines of talent
• Pre screen candidates ahead of hiring manager interviews.
• Attend Recruitment/brand awareness events on behalf of PXO.
• Provide weekly updates/reporting to the Group Head of P&O on progress at each stages of the hiring process.
• Establish and maintain good partnerships with department hiring managers, working closely to understand the needs of their department and requirements for vacancies within their team
• Manage candidate experience, maintaining good communication with candidates in the hiring process and within the pipeline for future opportunities.
• Schedule interviews, attend interviews and obtain feedback from hiring managers, managing the candidate journey through the interview process
• Work with production / resource managers to prepare offers, aligning skill level with salary and budget
• Participate in long term projects within the wider HR team
Requirements
• 2 years' experience working in recruitment, either in-house or in a recruitment agency
• Experience in the VFX or Animation industry required.
• Excellent knowledge of the full-cycle recruitment workflow
• Familiarity with a variety of different sourcing techniques and strategies
• Familiar working within an Applicant Tracking System to manage job requisitions
• Strong experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, including good knowledge of LinkedIn search function, and experience building LinkedIn projects to create pipelines
• Experience posting jobs on social media and jobs boards
• Proven ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with good sense of prioritisation, able to deliver to tight deadlines
