Sr Design Pm, Chief Of Staff, Prime Video UX Design & Research

The Amazon Prime Video UX team is seeking a self-motivated, ownership-minded, and nimble Senior Design Program Manager to work as a Chief of Staff Liaison to be a force-multiplier for our UX Design & Research teams, amplifying our efforts and impact. We design innovative experiences allowing customers around the world to discover, purchase, and watch the latest digital video content live and on demand.

You will collaborate closely with PVUX Chief of Staff, Design Operations leader, UX leadership, designers, researchers, and other program managers to amplify the impact the Design & Research studio has as a team and to to execute the team's vision. Your key responsibility will be to provide strategic and operational support and advice to the Chief of Staff. You will be a key part of a UX Design Studio collaborating across all aspects of the Prime Video service. Come build the future of entertainment with us!

Key job responsibilities
* Partner with PVUX Chief of Staff, Design Operations leader, and UX leadership in key project decision-making to help oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Design Studio
* Provide strategic guidance to UX leadership on key initiatives, including developing plans, setting goals, and tracking progress.
* Oversee planning and efficiency in tandem with head of Design Operations
* Prepare operational reports (e.g. financial) and management reports to inform UX leadership
* Responsible for driving internal review mechanisms for the head of Design & Research
* Leadership planning: Leads summits, support hiring/recruiting for the Studio
* Project manage key PVUX efforts for the studio to foster community and culture: Summits, Team Health programs, etc
* Partner with the Head of Design Operations to socialize, and continuously improve our user-centered design process
* Support all UX Hiring and onboarding programs
* Own UX communications (internal wiki, external events and communications)
* Head outreach and cross-Amazon relations with other teams
* Promote a sense of transparency, visibility, and community among our team

About the team
The Prime Video User Experience (PVUX) team's role is to design industry defining experiences where customers love to watch our content. The diverse composition of our team-Researchers, Designers, Technologists, Producers, and Writers-allows us to execute an end-to-end experience design process, from need finding and ideation to detailed prototypes, documentation, and asset creation. holistic view across programs, deliver a cohesive CX, and share resources, goals, and expertise to build strong partner relationships across the org.

Our teams currently span across Seattle, London, Culver City, Bay Area to optimize collaboration with product, marketing, engineering, and other partners.

Qualifications

- 6 years of design experience
- Experience understanding needs of business and end customers and translating them into right solutions
- Experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data and delivering continuous business improvements
- Have an available online portfolio
