Overview
Reflection Music is a full-service, independent music supervision company focusing on unscripted content. Current projects include Emmy-nominated programs like Selling Sunset, American Ninja Warrior, Nailed It!, and Top Chef along with cult favorites Love and Hip Hop, American Gangster: Trap Queens, Cold Justice, and many new, soon-to-be-announced programs.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, detail-orientated, team-player, and results-driven individual for the full-time position of Clearance & Licensing Manager. This position is remote/work from home but West Coast hours are required.

The Role
• Conduct song data research with various PRO's, labels, and publishers to obtain accurate clearance information.
• Draft and send quote requests and confirmation letters.
• Negotiate license fees and terms as needed per project.
• Assist in reviewing licenses for redlines
• Maintain music grids to track clearance status and costs.
• Maintain license payment tracking grids.
• Track and organize fully executed licenses for music deliverables.

What skills, experience, and traits are we looking for?
• A baccalaureate degree with a major in music business preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years' experience working in a synch clearance department, for a music supervisor or music clearing house.
• Established relationships with various labels and publishers.
• Broad understanding of music clearance and music rights for television.
• Unparalleled organizational skills and unwavering attention to detail.
• Should have a working knowledge of various office software and/or apps such as Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Google Docs
• Clear, concise communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably on multiple projects under tight timeframes in a fast-paced production environment.
• Possess a strong work ethic and initiative in tasks
• Ability to be a good detective and the innate perseverance to find missing shares of songs.
• Highly collaborative with the ability to be fluid and respond positively to change and new ideas.
• Ability to pivot quickly and be resourceful, think practically, and be solution-oriented.
• Candidates must supply their own computer, internet access, and phone. (box rental, phone, and internet stipend provided)

Salary
• Approx. $70,000 per year + benefits. Negotiable based on experience.
