Rich Spirit is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Publicity to drive high-impact media campaigns for its slate of films, releases, tentpole investments as well as its own brand. This role involves leading strategic press initiatives, securing top-tier coverage, and managing high-profile talent engagements across film, music and entertainment. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, has strong industry relationships, and excels at crafting compelling narratives. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute innovative publicity strategies for film and content launches, collaborating closely with senior marketing, publicity executives, and network leadership.
Serve as a key liaison between internal teams, talent, talent representatives, producers, and external PR agencies to manage press initiatives, interviews, set visits, junkets, and premieres.
Oversee media outreach, draft press releases, pitch stories, and compile targeted press lists to secure impactful coverage across print, digital, radio, and broadcast platforms.
Monitor and compile daily media coverage, distribute press breaks, and maintain updated media lists and press kits.
Manage and coordinate executive and client schedules for interviews, photo shoots, press tours, and award submissions while handling all talent logistics, including travel, grooming, and styling holds.
Lead awards campaign strategies, including submissions, nominations, and event coordination for major industry awards such as the Emmys and guild honors.
Oversee department budgets, billing, and contracts, ensuring timely payments and financial accuracy for PR campaigns.
Organize and execute press-related events, including screenings, junkets, media tours, and industry panels, ensuring seamless execution and effective press engagement.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in publicity directly related to the television / motion picture/ publicity industry
Deep knowledge and understanding of the media industry and specifically the OTT, SVOD and digital marketplace.
Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft compelling press releases, awards submissions, and media correspondence tailored for various audiences.
Strong multitasking abilities, managing multiple clients and competing priorities while maintaining high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
Established media relationships, particularly with entertainment and industry reporters, film festivals (domestic and international) and a deep understanding of media trends.
Bachelor's degree with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; must be available to attend press events, premieres, and festivals as needed.
