Roadside Attractions (Emily the Criminal, Judy, The Peanut Butter Falcon, Manchester by the Sea) is looking for Spring 2025 interns!
Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply for the program. Applicants must be available to work at least 2-3 days each week.
Interns will be exposed to numerous aspects of independent film production and distribution. Assignments may pertain to Development, Acquisitions, Marketing, Publicity, Business and Legal Affairs, or Post-Production, among other areas of the company. Specific duties will include writing script coverage; updating databases; drafting correspondence; viewing trailers, rough cuts, and finished films for research purposes; and completing ad hoc projects as needed.
Interns will be working in-person out of our offices in Los Angeles. This is a paid internship ($16.90/hr).
Salary/Benefits
$16.90 - 16.90 per hour

Roadside Attractions has released almost 200 films in its 20-year history, with combined box office exceeding $500 million. Roadside's films have garnered numerous OscarĀ® and other award nominations and wins. Past releases include Emily the Criminal, Judy, The Peanut Butter Falcon, I Can Only Imagine, Manchester by the Sea, Dear White People, Mud, and Winter's Bone, among other notable independent films. Roadside is partially owned by Lionsgate, who distributes Roadside's films in ancillary markets. The company has an output deal with Hulu. Roadside develops and produces both feature and series projects, including Shortcomings, Randall Park's feature directorial debut, which premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival.
