Robb Report seeks a motivated and creative team player to join our Business Development team in New York City. The Business Development Coordinator will mainly support the Director of Business Development and executives overseeing key functions in Product Marketing, Partnerships, Licensing, Legal, Public Relations, and Editorial. This person will oversee the successful maintenance of The Vault by Robb Report, the brand’s new e-commerce destination for one-of-one products and experiences. The role will involve a combination of administrative support responsibilities and an opportunity to work on The Vault related projects handled by the Business Development and Product Marketing teams. We are looking for a highly organized self-starter who is eager to take on responsibility in a collaborative team environment that covers multiple aspects of Robb Report’s business.
PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS FIXED 12-MONTH PERIOD WITH OPTION TO RENEW.
Responsibilities:
• Provide general administrative support for The Vault including, but not limited, to project tracking and contracts;
• Assist with data collection, analysis and reporting;
• Provide cross-departmental support on The Vault initiatives;
• Oversee inventory management for products featured in The Vault;
• Maintain The Vault databases across the business development and marketing teams;
• Conduct research on companies, industries, marketplaces and competitors related to other strategic initiatives, e-commerce platforms and events to help drive innovative Vault integrations;
• Coordinate strategic brand partnerships and licensing opportunities for The Vault;
• Assist with content production, including presentations, copy and design;
• Assist with developing go-to-market strategies for new programs and oversee on-going marketing implementation for existing programs; and
• Work with the Public Relations & Communications team in the implementation of communication strategies for new and existing programs, tangential to The Vault.
Requirements:
• 1 years of marketing and/or business development in the media industry, experience with luxury brands is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Salesforce and AirTable preferred
• Strong background in writing and prior experience in proposal assembly and creation preferred
• Pro-active go-getter who can flourish in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to effectively multi-task and manage priorities
• Highly organized
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player but also a is a self-starter who can work independently
Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
