This is a Full Time Job
The Director of Content and Programming, Events, will lead the development and execution of high-impact content strategies and programming initiatives for our events portfolio. This role is responsible for creating and curating innovative, engaging, and impactful content that drives audience engagement, achieves event objectives, and aligns with our brand’s mission and goals. Strong understanding and passion for luxury sector is critical.
PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS FIXED 12-MONTH PERIOD WITH OPTION TO RENEW.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies for a diverse range of events, including Brand events, Signature Experiences and Conferences.
• Identify key themes, trends, and topics that resonate with target audiences and support organizational goals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align content strategies with overall business objectives and brand messaging.
• Lead the creation of event content, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and breakout sessions.
• Curate and manage a roster of speakers, presenters, and facilitators who can deliver high-quality, relevant, and engaging content.
• Oversee the development of written and multimedia content, including promotional materials, event programs, and post-event summaries.
• Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless execution of content and programming elements throughout the event lifecycle.
• Coordinate with external vendors, partners, and contractors to ensure all content and programming needs are met.
• Manage the content calendar and oversee the scheduling of sessions, speakers, and other program elements.
• Develop strategies to attract and retain attendees through compelling content and engaging programming.
• Analyze audience feedback, engagement metrics, and industry trends to continuously improve content offerings and event experiences.
• Foster relationships with industry influencers, thought leaders, and key stakeholders to enhance the event’s reputation and reach.
• Collaborate with editorial, marketing, communications, operations and sales teams to ensure cohesive and effective event execution.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event content and programming.
• Propose and implement innovative ideas to enhance the effectiveness and appeal of our events.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in event content development, programming, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position.
• Proven track record of successful event planning and execution, with experience in both in-person and virtual event formats.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with high-profile speakers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with event management software, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
