This is a Full Time Job
Robb Report is looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to run our audience development team. The manager will be responsible for sharpening Robb Report’s voice across all platforms; crafting strategies for the rollout of major stories, coverage of tentpole events, and short-form social video; managing a team of two; and growing our social audience of more than 1.35 million.
You will bring the latest insights, trends, and best practices to Robb Report and its new shopping site, The Vault, to cover the luxury world across a range of categories, from cars, watches and travel to food & drink, real estate, yachting, and more. The manager will serve as an active member of Robb Report’s senior editorial team. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and be ready to dive into the day-to-day work of programming our social channels.
PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS FIXED 12-MONTH PERIOD WITH OPTION TO RENEW.
Responsibilities:
• Craft strategies to grow our audiences on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
• Manage, schedule, and post content on social and other platforms.
• Develop strategies to roll out major stories and cover tentpole events.
• Work collaboratively with Robb Report’s video team to create impactful short-form video for our social channels.
• Pull and analyze social data.
• Identify opportunities to recirculate evergreen content.
• Work with our sales and marketing teams.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience managing social media accounts for a publisher.
• Ability to manage a team and juggle multiple requests in a fast-moving environment.
• Attention to detail and an intuitive understanding of how people interact with content on different social platforms.
• Understanding of pressing topics for diverse cultures and communities.
• Experience with social media management and analytics tools (True Anthem, Creator Studio, etc.).
• Basic photo/graphic/video editing skills a plus (Adobe Suite).
Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
