This is a Full Time Job
The Events Coordinator will support the organization and production of signature events for Rolling Stone, as well as events surrounding key consumer and industry cultural moments.
This position will work closely with the Senior Director of Events & Programming and support the design, production, and logistics across the Live Media/Events team’s calendar.
The position requires project management, attention to detail, organization, writing, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Help research venues, artists, and vendors.
• Support in gathering, coding, and submitting invoices
• Supports in documentation creation pre- and post-event, including onsite activation ideations, talent curation, weekly client updates, and internal and external post-event recap decks.
• Act as liaison with vendors to produce event-branded elements.
• Guest Communications
• Create and manage event landing pages and automatic guest communications
• Manage guest lists (internal, talent, and external)
• Create and send out our post event survey to all guests following each event
• Help Consolidate key metrics, databases & scorecards
• Onsite event team support
• Coordinate event meetings across all teams (internal/external) as needed.
• Support in Awards submissions
• General support of Senior Director of Events & Programming
Requirements:
• 2- 3 years of relevant experience preferably containing a mix of Marketing, Event Production, or Operations
• Database management
• Ability to juggle multiple requests in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to problem solve
• Ability / Willingness to Travel for events and activations as needed
• Attention to detail, and roll- up sleeve attitude
• Creativity, big-picture/ what’s-next-mentality and love for the culture huge plus!
Salary: 65K

The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
