Temp Operations Technician - 6 months

The Operations Technician position will report to the Senior Manager of Production, who will schedule and assign tasks. Production data entry is a significant part of the Operations team, which is in charge of content ingestion, encoding, and content QA for Rovi Entertainment Store partners and the RES storefronts.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

* Content data entry
* Scanning and manipulation of images
* Video content QA
* Asset tracking (DVDs, Mezzanine Files, Metadata, Artwork)
* QA of new proprietary software applications
* Working closely with Database Administrator to resolve data issues
* Other projects assigned by the Production Manager

Primary Qualifications:

* College degree preferred
* Highly organized with strict attention to detail
* Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adhere to timelines
* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Must be able to rapidly come up to speed on proprietary software applications
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Photoshop and Outlook (Intermediate to Advanced skill level)
* Basic technical background - familiarity with SQL/Database Administration, Content Distribution platforms, and digital asset creation and delivery a plus
* Must be okay with Adult production
