Who we're looking for…
RWS Entertainment Group is currently seeking a Social Media Intern.
About the role…
Reporting to the Marketing Coordinator, the Social Media Intern will assist in creating content across all platforms. As an intern within our Marketing team, you will help produce original content for social media assuring the highest quality and creativity for day-to-day content creation.
What's expected…
• Play an active role in the research, planning and development of strategic content for company social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Maintain awareness as to what's ''on trend'' with new social media marketing techniques and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Analyze results to ensure that insights are integrated into current and future strategies, as well as develop frameworks to help refine our strategies.
• Assist with research, interview transcription, writing, and possibly some editing.
• Research new blogs and channels for relevance/trend identification and opportunities for extending our reach and adding valuable content.
• Track weekly social media growth and engagement across platforms and competitive landscape.
• Share ideas and display creativity in social media marketing efforts.
• Monitor and engage with all sites, groups, comments, and online ''chatter'' daily.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
• Maintain awareness of new and emerging social media platforms, trends, and digital marketing tools, and recommend their usage as necessary to strengthen company's digital presence.
• Report weekly on social media activity, online ''chatter'', reviews and feedback from customers and fans to Marketing Coordinator.
• Track and report social media influence measurements monthly; show ability to interpret the results and gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness and utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.
• Attend live events and post in real time as needed.

What you bring…
• A passion for all things social media with an eye towards ''what's next'' regarding platforms, media opportunities and best practices
• Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Experience with social media analytics and content management platforms such as Hootsuite
• Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
• Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
• Ability to view data and pull key takeaways and spot trends
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up
• Demonstrates creativity and knowledge of the social space
• Highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future fans
• Excellent writing and language skills and strong time management
• Basic photography, video and/or graphic design skills a plus
• Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and visual format
The deal…
• Work two (2) full business days per week
• Office hours are 9am-5pm
• Stipend with MetroCard OR college credit
• Starting on or about June 4, 2018 and ending on or about August 31, 2018
