Job Summary:

Lead cinematography and visual storytelling to enhance the organization's connection with its worldwide fanbase with a specific focus on all-access and long-form content.

Key Responsibilities:
• Play an integral role in all-access and long-form video storytelling, with a primary focus on pre-production and production, while also supporting the team in editing and post-production for use online, market, and in venue.
• Manage and execute all aspects of the videography process to create all-access and long-form videos for the organization, including embedded coverage with the team home and away for practices, games, and team-related events.
• Foster trust and strong relations with key stakeholders to enhance storytelling opportunities.
• Anticipate and integrate feedback from key stakeholders across Business, Basketball, and Arena Operations into coverage.
• Lead cinematography for high-end productions within the organization, including intros, series, boundary-pushing hype videos, commercials, branded shoots, and other large-scale productions.
• Maintain comprehensive video production standards, ensuring consistent quality and technical excellence across all organizational content through documented protocols, quality control processes, and filming best practices.
• Actively maintain industry best practices to capture video footage for optimal impact across online platforms and recommend innovative methods to enrich the fan experience online and in arena.
• Provide mentorship to Content and Digital team members with methods to help advance the organization's overall production capabilities.
• Collaborate across the organization to provide world-class customer service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications:
• Background in video production, broadcast, journalism, communications, and/or social media.
• 5+ years of experience producing and editing videos, with a specific focus on documentaries, to drive engagement for a global brand.
• 5+ years of experience establishing and achieving ambitious video goals online.
• In-depth experience using Premiere Pro and additional programs in the Adobe Creative Cloud family.
• Expert knowledge and use of Sony, RED, DJI, and the latest professional cameras and equipment.
• Savvy with the latest in production audio, including coordinating music rights, and utilizing services such as Universal Production Music, APM and more.
• On the leading edge of the latest trends impacting culture with history of filtering and adapting those that can help advance an organization's connection with its worldwide fanbase.
• Savy with the latest web, mobile and social platforms, and related metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working with production calendars and outlines.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Asana, artificial intelligence, and related platforms to drive business forward.
• Knowledge of the NBA, Sacramento Kings, entertainment, esports, and pop culture.

• Ability to travel and regularly work days, nights, weekends, holidays, in and out of market.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this exempt role is $70,000 - $75,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following:
