Admin Assistant - Sales & Rights Management

This is a Full Time Job

Samuel Goldwyn Films, an LA based distribution company, is seeking an organized and enthusiastic admin assistant to support our sales and rights department. We are looking for someone who is interested in learning the distribution and business side of entertainment. This person would be expected to be familiar with the indie film landscape and have a working knowledge of recent indie releases as well as our content library. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented, organized, flexible, and has a working knowledge of the indie & VOD marketplaces.

Responsibilities include:
General admin duties (scheduling, follow ups, taking notes, etc.)
Maintaining metadata, database, and rights tracking for our full catalog (new release & library)
Help organize and prepare submissions to external platforms and partners
Occasional script and screener coverage
Festival and Market preparation & scheduling
Ability to multitask and prioritize while meeting deadlines
Attention to detail

Preferred qualifications are a familiarity with the major distribution platforms - AVOD, SVOD, TVOD, etc., self-motivated and proactive problem solver, bachelor's degree in film & television business or finance, knowledge in Microsoft Suite/Google Drive, passion for cinema. We are a small, collaborative company with growth potential for the right candidate. Candidates must be LA-based.
