Event Drone Pilot (PT)
The Event Drone Pilot will be responsible for managing all event security staff to provide a safe environment at the Frost Bank Center, Toyota Field, and grounds on event and non-event days. On days designated to operate the drone, the pilot will do so in a safe manner.
The Event Security Drone Pilot will report directly to the Security Manager on Duty and will oversee all aspects of the event security operation during event and non-event days, along with the drone program. When operating the drone, must be in compliance with the Federal Aviation Administrations’ Small Unmanned Aircraft (UAS) Part 107.
Drone Pilot will not be responsible for providing any of their own equipment, all required equipment will be supplied by SS&E.
What You’ll Do:
• Responds to any guest safety and/or security issues in a timely manner and with the highest level of professionalism.
• Respond to emergencies and non-emergencies calls, and incidents are properly reported and documented.
• Act as a role model within and outside of the Frost Bank Center and Toyota Field.
• Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management, ability to prioritize workload.
• Strong communication skills to convey plan information and other types of data effectively.
• Process information and identify solutions to issues with staff, patrons and drones.
• Ability to work independently and in teams while maintaining rigorous attention to detail is required.
• Must be able to utilize a variety of computer applications including MS Office, and other on-line cloud storage and data transfer tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Security Management.
Who You Are:
• A minimum of 1 year experience in the field of security.
• Ability to achieve and maintain a State Security license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
• Must have knowledge in the field of alarms, CCTV and security control systems.
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess a working knowledge of computer programs and software, such as Microsoft Suite.
• Must be able to work long hours, flexible hours including evenings, weekends, overnight and holidays.
• Must comply with the minimum attendance policy.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods in extreme conditions.
• Must possess the ability to meet dress standards.
• Ability to work outdoor events in hot, cold, wet, or windy conditions throughout duration of the shift.
