THE OPPORTUNITY
The Coordinator will work with the entertainment and licensing teams to support and manage administrative tasks and certain marketing projects for new television and licensing programs.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing/Licensing:
Take out ads for licensing group, deliver art to publications.
Liaise with Scholastic and partners social media groups.
Manage Brand information and updates (publishing info, broadcast info, licensee lists, etc.); work on one-sheets and PowerPoint presentations for internal and external parties, coordinate production of digital and print marketing/sales materials.
Work on website development - manage creative continuity and general processes.
Liaise and work with team to manage general marketing relationships with external and internal partners (broadcasters, licensees, internal publishing, and internal marketing).
Work on department newsletter.
Work with team on brand plans and brand calendars.
Coordinate messaging and assets with PR firm, corporate communications, external and internal partners (press release creation and approvals).
Development:
Manage recording schedules for production group.
Respond to all rights management queries.
Get manuscripts from editors. Liaise with trade group to build development slate.
Update rights grid.
Make copies of scripts and other materials for production group.
Occasional research projects
General Admin. functions for Marketing, Licensing, and Development:
CPOs, invoicing, catalyst management for licensing/production groups.
Take meeting notes and circulate to relevant parties for licensing/production groups.
Order supplies, send mailings.
Manage holiday gift and card mailings.
Booking meetings for key personnel (including for trade shows and out of town trips).
Make reservations.
HOW YOU CAN FIT
1 to 3 years' experience in an office setting.
Be professional, very detailed orientated, ability to multitask.
Have organizational and time management skills, a desire to learn, ability and desire to manage a project/task from concept to completion.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good/Excellent writing and editing skills - ability to read materials and then write synopses (accurate spelling and grammar skills are crucial).
An interest in entertainment, children's media, marketing, and licensing is a plus.
