Administrative Assistant Floater/Receptionist - Entertainment Law Firm
Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin & Dunham LLP is a top boutique entertainment law firm, with offices in New York City and Beverly Hills, serving clients in the motion picture, television, and Broadway theatre industry.
We are seeking a highly-organized and detail-oriented, full-time Administrative Assistant Floater/Receptionist. This position is responsible for providing daily reception coverage along with administrative support to senior-level partners/executives as needed when their Administrative Assistant is out of the office. This is a highly visible role that requires interacting with all levels of the firm and its clients.
In addition to covering the reception desk and filling in for Assistants, this position will assist with special projects including supply inventory, filing, scanning, updating database, etc. This is an in-office, 5 days/week role.

Receptionist Responsibilities:
• Daily Reception coverage: visitors, mainline phone coverage, distribute/send mail.
• Kitchen/office supply inventory, orders food for meetings.
Floater Responsibilities:
• When filling in for Assistants, handles a high volume of phone calls and interacts with senior-level business leaders in a professional and effective manner.
• Prepares/sends agreements for signature, attaching/enclosing contract comments, execution copies, retainer letters, and new client forms, etc.
• Heavy scheduling - conference calls, lunch meetings/restaurant reservations, etc.
• Travel arrangements including airline, hotel, and car reservations.
• Helps out with online research - film information, opening dates, box office info, etc.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1-year office or entertainment industry administrative support experience.
• Must possess excellent communication (written/verbal) and computer skills [PC].
• Sound judgment with loads of common sense and a strong, positive phone manner.
• Must be well organized and a fast learner who can multi-task and handle a fast-paced environment.
• MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) proficiency is an absolute must.
Compensation:
• Salary range $45,000 to $55,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
